Devonne Spence
Founder and lead consultant

Creating Andover Road on the foundations of strategy and storytelling and content innovation, Devonne Spence is a longstanding PR and Branding Expert with over 10+ years of experience accentuating the media, advertising, and traditional/digital marketing landscapes.

Specializing heavily in rendering authentic connections between brands with their target audiences, Devonne brings with her an extensive background in developing custom media/marketing campaigns along with the art of executing conversion-rich PR premieres that enhance brand voices within their respective markets. Even more, she is passionate about leveraging this acumen, in conjunction with her corporate leadership experiences, to continuously help tech/fintech leaders, entrepreneurs and athletes gain what they value the most – increased brand exposure, a preservable reputation, and sustainable growth.

Prior to establishing Andover Road, a PR consultancy named after the first place her Jamaican grandparents settled upon arriving in Nottingham, Devonne initially began her career at Citi within Trading and Investment Banking. Here, she concurrently held the role of the PR lead for the Level 39 Global Fintech program was the PR lead for Citi's participation in the BBC program, Sing While You Work - The Choir.

Throughout this time, Devonne became respected for her positive nature and keen focus on working diligently with all levels of an organization to ensure there was never any cross-functional ambiguity.

Overall, Devonne is a professional driven by passion, is a huge sports fan to the point of technical obsession, and genuinely values the trajectory of her client's success as a newly qualified sports agent.

This experience soon became the catalyst for Devonne to scale professionally and gain over a decade of experience within Senior Management roles. This included being a Global Head of PR and a VP of Brand Marketing for Financial Services and Fintech companies such as Citi, GoCardless, Monzo Bank, and Soldo.
